National Youth Leadership Forum: Advanced Medicine & Health Care

This two-week camp exposed me to a broad range of educational pathways, careers in health care, and the skills needed to be successful in the medical field. I learned information that would help me make important decisions about my future in college and medical school. Medical personnel helped us step into the shoes of a health care provider and begin to understand concepts and practices that are critical in the field.

UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER

Personalized Medicine: Customizing Care Through Genetics was a two-week virtual camp that unlocked the mysteries of human genetics and connected specific patterns to traits and diseases. We leaned how breakthroughs in Personalized Medicine are being used to create tests and highly-targeted treatments. We studied genomic sequencing, practiced reading gene data, and identified mutations that cause disease.

A.I. Scholars 2021

AI Scholars inspired curious high school students by exposing us to the defining technology of our times: Artificial Intelligence. During this two-week virtual program, which was developed and taught exclusively by a team of alumni and graduate students from Stanford, MIT, and other top universities, I learned about initiating AI projects, pursuing AI ventures and preparing for college.
